Massage, mobility and behaviour support for dogs in Wellington & Hutt Valley

When I first started working with my own dog on vet handling, I thought I just needed a few training tricks.

What I found instead was a whole new way of looking at dogs.

I learned that behaviour challenges often have hidden roots - health issues, pain, fear, or unmet needs. I learned just how much a dog’s physical health and behaviour are connected.

Whether you’re puzzled over your dog’s behaviour, managing your senior dog’s mobility, or wishing your gangly puppy could coordinate even just a couple of their legs … I’m here to help.

At Your Whole Dog, I help dogs feel confident in their world and comfortable in their bodies.

Helping your dog feel safe and understood

Hi, I’m Annie!

I specialise in canine massage therapy, fitness and mobility training, and positive behaviour consulting, and am dedicated to supporting dogs in a way that’s both kind and effective.

If you’re looking for holistic, compassionate support, I’ve got you.

I work across the Wellington region, with dogs in their own homes to keep things as stress-free as possible. By meeting your dog where they feel most comfortable, I can better understand their needs and help both of you thrive.

Working together, as a team, we’ll work with your dog and teach them how to be an active, willing partner. Helping:

  • Fearful and anxious dogs build confidence and life skills
  • Dogs with handling worries feel safer at the vet, groomer, or during home care
  • Senior and recovering dogs stay mobile, strong, and comfortable
  • Puppies learn how to move their bodies and gain coordination
  • Any dog enjoy the benefits of massage and mobility care

My approach is different, and it's dog-led

I have a keen eye for detail and a knack for seeing the bigger picture. I don’t just focus on symptoms. I dig deeper. Looking for what’s beneath the surface.

One key tool in my approach is gait and posture analysis.  I can often see subtle signs of discomfort that may be affecting your dog’s movement, or behaviour. This helps us get the right treatment early and avoid bigger problems later.

By address these underlying issues, we can implement  sustainable solutions, that support your dog's wellbeing.

Why it matters

Behaviour and health are deeply connected.

A dog in discomfort can’t focus to learn, or feel at ease - it’s just not possible. That’s why I look at the whole picture. Ensuring your dog’s physical and emotional needs are met before diving into training or behaviour work.

This isn’t about quick fixes or treating dogs like they’re broken.

Dogs aren’t toasters. They’re not broken machines that need fixing. Instead, they’re complex beings who want to feel safe and understood. My approach identifies what they’re worried about, what needs aren’t being met, and how to empower them to navigate the world with confidence.
