Professional Certifications and Affiliations
Did you know that dog training is an unregulated industry?
That means anyone can call themselves a trainer, regardless of education or experience. Some still use outdated, aversive techniques that can harm dogs both physically and emotionally.
It’s important to ask questions before choosing a professional. They should be able to tell you what they’ve studied, when they qualified, and how they keep their knowledge up to date. I take this responsibility seriously.
My approach is science-based, ethical, and always evolving to reflect the best practices in training, behaviour, and canine wellbeing
