Canine Massage and Fitness in Wellington and the Surrounding Areas
Helping your dog move, play, and feel their best
You know when your dog just isn’t quite themself. Maybe they’re moving a bit slower, seem stiff or sore, or just don’t have their usual spark. Or perhaps they’re recovering from an injury and need a little extra TLC.
Whatever’s going on, you want them to feel comfortable, happy, and ready to thrive.
Whether it’s easing stiffness, recovering from an injury, or improving overall fitness, we’ll work together to create a plan tailored to your dog.
I help dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages feel their best - whether they’re golden oldies, gangly puppies, bouncy athletes, confirmed couch potatoes, or shy, sensitive souls.
Using a calm, cooperative approach, I’ll help support your dog’s physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being.
Together, we’ll make your dog’s day better.

Why Canine Massage?
Massage can help to:
- improve flexibility and range of motion,
- reduce pain and inflammation,
- improve nerve and muscle function,
- reduce muscle tension,
- improve muscle tone,
- reduce scarring and swelling,
- improve circulation and lymphatic drainage,
- reduce stress and anxiety,
- promote relaxation and improve sleep quality.
Canine massage is a safe and effective way to improve your dog's overall health and well-being. It is also a great way to help dogs who are sensitive to handling become more comfortable with the process in a relaxed manner.
All massages are carried out on the floor, or wherever your dog is comfortable. I do not use a table.
As a Fear Free and Low-Stress Handling certified dog trainer and massage therapist I work at your dog's pace to gain their trust and participation in the process. They are encouraged to take breaks if they need to, and then come back if/when they are ready. Because of this appointments may not stick exactly to time; some may run slightly shorter and some may go slightly over.
Why Canine Fitness?
A carefully crafted fitness and conditioning program will:
- teach puppies how to move their body and navigate their surroundings, giving them confidence as they learn,
- prepare sports and working dogs for their demanding careers
- keep senior dogs in their physical and mental prime
- reduce the risk of injury
- improve muscle tone and function
- ensure they maintain muscle strength and flexibility
- assist with weight loss and weight management
- provide both physical and mental stimulation
- build confidence, reduce anxiety and improve their quality of life.
