Canine Massage and Bodywork
Therapeutic functional massage and bodywork provides a number of benefits for your dog, in just the same way as it does for us humans!
Massage can help to:
- improve flexibility and range of motion,
- reduce pain and inflammation,
- improve nerve and muscle function,
- reduce muscle tension,
- improve muscle tone,
- reduce scarring and swelling,
- improve circulation and lymphatic drainage
- reduce stress and anxiety,
- promote relaxation and improve sleep quality.
Canine massage is a safe and effective way to improve your dog's overall health and well-being. It is also a great way to help dogs who are sensitive to handling become more comfortable with the process in a non-invasive and relaxed manner.
Acupressure, PEMF, cold LASER, and kinesiology taping are additional modalities that may complement your dog's bodywork appointments.
If you would like an in-home appointment at your place, these are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Massage appointments are priced:
Initial consultation - $165

I am a certified Canine Myo-manipulative Functional Therapist (CMFT); myo-manipulative is a fancy way of saying massage: 'myo-manipulative' means manually making changes to the muscle and 'functional therapy' is addressing dysfunctions in the body's ability to move optimally.
As a Fear Free and Low-Stress Handling certified dog trainer and massage therapist I work at your dog's pace to gain their trust and participation in the process.
All massages are carried out on the floor, or wherever your dog is comfortable. I do not use a table.
