Dog Dental Care

Teeth cleaning is one of those jobs most of us mean to get to... and then don’t. 

If you’re looking for dog dental care you can fit into the routine you already have, these products are a good place to start.

They are created by Dr Nicole Rous, an integrative vet in Melbourne. 

  • Soothe Clean Dental is a natural toothpaste that targets plaque and tartar build-up. 
  • Soothe Dental is a powder you add to your dog’s food. It’s daily dental support that targets plaque build-up and freshens breath. 

You can use one or both.

A product only helps if your dog will let you near their mouth. Plenty of dogs are happy to eat a supplement in their dinner, but toothpaste goes much more smoothly when a dog has learned that mouth handling is nothing to be worried about. Cooperative care is something that I teach during in-home sessions across Wellington and the Hutt Valley, force-free and at your dog’s pace.

Note: if your dog has very bad breath, seems sore around the mouth, or is dropping food, get their teeth checked by your vet first. Pain can sit behind a lot of behaviour changes.
